At Hearthwood, we take pride in crafting premium leather goods designed to last. All our products are backed by a 1-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.

What This Warranty Covers

✅ Manufacturing defects (e.g., faulty stitching, leather flaws, or hardware failures)
✅ Functional issues (e.g., broken zippers, belt buckle mechanisms)

What’s Not Covered

❌ Normal wear and tear (e.g., leather patina, minor scuffs)
❌ Damage from misuse, accidents, or improper care
❌ Alterations or repairs by unauthorized third parties

How to Make a Warranty Claim

  1. Contact Us
    Email support@hearthwood.shop within 1 year of purchase with:

    • Your order number

    • Clear photos/video of the defect

    • A brief description of the issue

  2. Evaluation
    Our team will respond within 3-5 business days to:

    • Approve a repair/replacement, or

    • Request additional information

  3. Resolution

    • Repair: Minor issues will be fixed free of charge

    • Replacement: For unrepairable defects

    • Refund: If neither option is possible

Important Notes

  • Warranty applies only to the original purchaser with proof of purchase

  • Customer covers return shipping unless required by South African consumer law

  • This warranty is in addition to your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act
